After being on the ground in Shetland for a year and a half, the peatland restoration at Cunninsburgh has been very successful and we have seen recovery in the level of the water table as a result of the GeoSisal dams. The collaboration of The East Africa Sisal Company and the Shetland Amenity Trust has drawn wide national attention, with articles published by the BBC and The Scotsman.
